About us:
Capitol Tours is a South Carolina family owned business in operation since 1981, we provide
a full service for motorcoach tours. Charter services and packaged tours are
offered to all types of groups and organizations.
Capitol Bus Lines, Inc. (ie. Capitol Tours and Sea Island Stages) maintains memberships
in the American Bus Association (ABA), United Motorcoach Association (UMA) and
the Motorcoach Association of SC (MCASC). The company's owner, Charles T. "Buddy"
Young serves on the board of directors of the ABA and MCASC.
We are fully insured and meet all regulatory requirements for vehicle liability
insurance as outlined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and the
South Carolina Public Service Commissions's Carrier Regulations. We also
maintain the highest safety rating awarded by the Federal Motor Carriers.
